APPLE NEWS+
As Creative Director at People Inc. for more than 10 years, I developed a partnership with the content team at Apple to produce animated covers for Apple News+. Collaborating with motion designers, and photo and video teams, I directed all motion content, production, and design to extend each brand’s online presence. The goal was to convey a nuanced-but-impactful narrative in a short time, increasing reader engagement. Real Simple mini issues, a special project on News+ made of repurposed content, generated $125K+ new revenue within 1 year.


MINOR ISSUES, MAJOR OPINIONS
As Creative Director of Real Simple I oversaw the creative direction and production of a celebrity-based Q&A video series that stemmed from the Folio award-winning podcast about soft controversies.


RACHAEL RAY EVERYDAY STEP-BY-STEP COOKING SERIES
Experimenting with playful use of stop-motion video and incorporating branded line illustrations, I collaborated with food and photo teams to story-board these quirky how-to videos featured on Rachael Ray EveryDay website.


RACHAEL RAY EVERYDAY: SUMMER 2019 COVER SIZZLE REEL
Partnering with the Leary Firefighters Foundation, we embraced the subject and made it our print issue cover theme: Red, Hot & Blue, Summer 2019. Inspired by the TV series Brooklyn Nine-Nine and casting actual FDNY firefighters (and Bucca the pup!) we created a set with a firehouse red door and animated graphic type to produce the promotional video.
