CREATIVE DIRECTOR

CROSS-PLATFORM CAMPAIGNS

THE REAL SIMPLE HOME
As Creative Director of Real Simple, I oversaw the visual branding of all cross-platform projects, including the brand’s annual tentpole: The Real Simple Home. The 2025 Home was actually two homes—a NYC-based penthouse and a 2-bedroom apartment. And we had a celebrity integration with Drew Barrymore. Working closely with UX and video teams, we animated website imagery that comes to life with colorful graphics and type. We also built a scrolling Meet the Designers panel and shoppable rooms. Our color palette was inspired by selected wallpaper and paints used throughout the home. I directed the 3-day photo shoot and production team in order to create all assets that appeared online as well as on the print issue cover and 18-page feature article. In the end, we had a project that brought in more than $5 million (400% growth), and felt even more distinct than previous years.

REAL SIMPLE: THE GAME CHANGERS ISSUE
The Real Simple cross-platform custom issue starred Kristen Bell, the first-ever celebrity to appear on the magazine’s cover. I oversaw the creative direction for video and photo shoot assets, design, and post-production. The result: a cohesive online and in-book experience that increased audience engagement.

RACHAEL RAY EVERYDAY: LIKE A BOSS
Rachael Ray EveryDay
’s annual tentpole campaign profiled women in food, such as Nyesha Arrington, Anita Jaisinghani, Angie Mar, and Daniela Soto-Innes. The campaign included online video, social, and a dedicated print issue. By creating a consistent neutral color palette and incorporating illustration in the print issue, I was able to produce a powerful marketing tool that our business team could sell to advertisers.
